Why Homemade Brownies Mean More Than Dessert

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how we use our time.
Not in a rushed or productive sense, but in a way that truly feeds the soul. Choosing moments that bring happiness, comfort, and connection. The kind of moments that feel slow, intentional, and real.
Homemade Brownies Recipe
Making these brownies was one of those moments.
A loved one once took the time to teach me how to make them, patiently, lovingly, without pressure. And every time I bake them now, it feels like a quiet reminder that happiness often lives in the simplest things: shared knowledge, warm kitchens, and recipes passed down with care.
There’s something grounding about creating with your hands. About turning basic ingredients into something that brings joy, not just to yourself, but to others too.
So today, I wanted to share this small piece of happiness with you

A quick, simple brownie recipe, easy to make, easy to love.
Simple Homemade Brownies
You’ll need:
125g butter (melted)
200g sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
75g cocoa powder
100g flour
A pinch of salt

How to make them:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Mix the melted butter and sugar together.
Add the eggs and vanilla, and stir until smooth.
Gently fold in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
Pour into a lined baking tin and bake for 20–25 minutes.
Let them cool… if you can

Optional: drizzle with melted chocolate for a little extra love.
May you find time, even just a little, to do things that make you happy.
Things that connect you to memories, people, and moments that matter.
Sometimes, that’s all we really need.

With love,
Linda Bella
