The Importance of Healing : It's Crucial To Understand That 'We Repeat What We Don't Repair'.

First of all, let me start this post off but wishing you all a Happy and wonderful new month, it is my prayer that we all experience magical things this month, today's write-up is a sensitive one so please stick with me.

Have you ever heard the expression "Be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop"? Well, this quote was the most accurate thing I've read recently. I'm slowly coming to understand that the things that hurt us actually offer doors to fresh starts and fresh chances. For instance, when you cut off a negative friend, coworker, partner, or family member, you start to look for ways to move on, to heal, and to feel less depressed because that stuff hurts and I always say that only people you allow close to your heart and soul can hurt you; I'm not talking about physical "Hurt," here.
Strangers would mistreat us, yet we would eventually let it go. Why? It's simple to brush it aside after a little while since that person doesn't mean anything to us; however, if that hurt comes from a close friend, family member, or spouse, it feels like a spear to the heart.

If you want to heal your heart's wounds, you have to start with healing your thoughts, the way we think is very important when it comes to inner healing or cleansing, this will help you easily release that which no longer serves you back to the universe. In this short post, I will also be sharing some of my favorite healing quotes with you, to see if it helps you understand the importance of healing.

When you hear the phrase "We repeat what we don't repair" it simply means We repeat what is comfortable. We repeat behaviors because they feel comfortable and we know what to anticipate from them, even when we are aware that it is dysfunctional and not functioning well for us. We frequently pick the familiar over the unknown because it is the "devil you know," as I like to put it.

It's been stated that rain makes us enjoy rainbows more. Any issue in life may be summed up like that. Problems and struggles will inevitably arise from time to time. No matter how well we've prepared for obstacles, terrible circumstances are nonetheless caused by trials that appear out of nowhere. It's never simple to deal with unpleasant feelings. However, with tenacity and fortitude, you have the ability to triumph over any challenge. Nothing lasts forever, so keep that in mind. In other words, know that it will pass and that you will become more resilient.

Healing also comes from "Self-Compassion". We are frequently harsher on ourselves than we are on others. We could even become angry with ourselves for being unwell or unable of moving past previous rejection or hurt. But we don't help ourselves by being overly harsh on ourselves. Instead, we just hinder the healing process of our body and mind.

Because of this, self-compassion is a fantastic tool for self-healing. A good place to start would be to compose a letter of self-compassion to oneself, in which we would express our gratitude and outline our future plans for ourselves. To prevent others from doing the same to us, we may also establish better boundaries. Alternatively, we may learn how to speak up for ourselves and take better care of ourselves by learning how to communicate assertively.
Let's dispel a common misunderstanding right away: Self-care does not equate to self-indulgence or being selfish. In order to remain healthy, and well, do your work, assist and care for others, and complete all your daily tasks but never forget to practice Self-care and Self-love.

People will make you feel like it's a bad thing to take care of you, but the minute you realize that you and your happiness come first, things will begin to fall into place, it may not happen in a blink of an eye but in a long run you will begin to see the result, just remember that you are worthy of the same love you are trying to give everyone else, you are worthy of healing, inner peace, and tranquility in your life.
