Lifestyle: Reasons Why Protecting Your Energy And Aura Is Very Crucial.

There is so much negativity going on and it becomes draining because while dealing with these happenings in the world you also have to deal with people I like to call "Energy Vampires".
Who are Energy Vampires?
Energy vampires are emotionally immature individuals who have the sense that the whole world revolves around them. They are almost incapable of seeing things from another person's perspective. They often lack empathy, they drain the life out of you and leave you feeling like an empty shell afterwards.
Energy vampires are people who intentionally drain your emotional energy. They feed on your willingness to listen and care for them, leaving you exhausted and overwhelmed. They can be anywhere and anyone.they can be your spouse, your friends, your colleagues or your best friend or even your neighbour. 
Learning how to identify and respond to this toxic behaviour can help you preserve your energy and protect yourself from a great deal of emotional and physical distress and I will be sharing a few tips on how I avoid toxic people, detox and recharge my energy and cleanse my "Aura".
An "aura" is a rainbow-like, kaleidoscopic, electromagnetic field of energy that pulses around the physical body and is attuned to our emotions, health and external circumstances.

1) Cleanse your Aura:  Cleanse your aura by smudging it with healing herbs. Smudging refers to the burning of herbs in traditional shamanic practices, where the smouldering herb releases a smoke carrying the particular properties of the herb, allowing it to bathe and cleanse the aura with its particular correspondence. When we feel our auric energies are of a lower, more negative vibration, we can smudge our aura with the smoke from herbs with healing properties, such as sage, juniper and lavender.

2) Take Cleansing Baths: Cleansing baths are useful tools for purifying the aura of any negative potential, particularly eucalyptus, sea salt and lavender baths to calm the body, mind and spirit, I love to play some meditation music when having a cleansing bath, I also light candles creating a Zen atmosphere, I say some positive chants that help get rid of negative and toxic energy, and I soak for 10-20mins when I come out of the bath, I visualize all the negative and toxic energy going down the drain and leaving me and my environment.
3) Surround yourself and surrounding with positive energies, and keep your aura close to you.
It’s important to be aware of the people/situations that drain our energies and debilitate our auric potential. Therefore, it’s integral for your wellbeing to limit your exposure to the situations that feed off your aura as much as possible to keep it healthy and nourished.
4) Lastly Meditation: This is a topic I love talking about, Negativity is toxic to your entire system, so clearing negative energy is an important strategy on your journey of holistic well-being and meditation is one I enjoy doing most. Set an intention for releasing all your own negative energy and everything you’ve picked up on from others. I like to say: I am easily releasing all energy from myself and others that no longer serves me. I do this for my highest good.
Next Step: 
1)Imagine a small ball of brilliant, golden light in the centre of your chest, expanding the light on each exhalation.
2)Imagine breathing in and out through your chest, expanding the light on each exhalation.
3)Spread the light throughout your entire body. See it in your head, torso, arms, and toes.
4)Now expand it beyond your skin until the light is about an arm’s length out in all directions.

Remember negativity can make you feel heavy, dark, and gloomy; feel emotionally reactive and defensive; and view the world through a mixed filter of fear, anger, and paranoia. Since your mind and body are so deeply intertwined, mental and emotional negativity also has a physical counterpart: tense muscles, shallow breathing, increased blood pressure, elevated levels of adrenalin and cortisol, make sure you take time off social media from time to time to recharge and detox yourself and aura of any toxic lingering anger, hate, and negative energy.
